Q. What Is Financial Harvesting?
A. Financial Harvesting is a Platform-As-A-Service (PAAS). This means that it is a digital, online product which can also be used as a service by small businesses.
Q. What does the Financial Harvest PAAS enable you to do?
A. Small businesses will be able to outsource their entire financial operations to the PAAS and manage their Financial Processes Projects for each client online.
Q. What does the Financial Harvesting PAAS Do?
A. Our PAAS has been designed to allow your your Financial Harvesting Pro to manage the day-to-day financial operations of your business.
It has been designed and to enable your Pro to produce the following documents over your monthly, quarterly and yearly life-cycles:
- Financial Records-organized and stored records
- Financial Statements-cash flow projections & capital needs, historical financial statements, etc.
- Financial Metrics-which can then be analyzed
Q. How long does it take to get up to speed in order to use Financial Harvesting PAAS?
A. A few days. The PAAS have been prebuilt so unless you want to customize it, it should be easy to learn.
Q. Is the Financial Harvesting Tool a Software Application?
A. No, our Financial Harvesting PAAS has been built on top of another online software.
Q. Is the Financial Harvesting PAAS financial accounting software?
A. No, you can continue to use your existing accounting software. Your Financial Harvesting Pro will do an analysis and see if a new accounting package is a better fit for your business. If not, the CPA will continue to use your existing package. The Financial Harvesting PAAS does not replace your accounting software, it sits between your business and the software and we provide the CPA with a link to access your accounting software.
Q. What is the goal of the Financial Harvesting PAAS vs. Accounting Software?
A. The goals are different. The goal of the Financial Harvesting PAAS is to help you and your CPA to improve the management of your financial operations. The goal of accounting software is primarily database oriented i.e. to keep the data related to your books and produce financial ststements.

A. We provide you with the following:

Q. Do I need any additional management software to manage the outsourcing of our financial operations?
A. You should not.

A. As soon as the PAAS is deployed by your CPA and you have access to it, should begin to receive value from our product. You will begin to learn what is involved with the full range of financial operations and your Financial Harvesting Pro will work with you to determine if you want to use the out-of-the-box template or want to customize it.
Q. Will my financial records be secure?
A. Yes, your financial "data" does not get stored online with our tool. You will continue to use the financial accounting software you normally use. We are only providing the processes, activities and tasks (PAT's) that go into producing a set of financial records and statements. Your company's PATS should be secure unless there is a breach of the online software.

A. The entire product is provided online. All you need is a browser to access it.
It is an online set of project processes which covers the entire life-cycle for the financial operations of a small business.

A. It is tool licensed to CPA firms, which in turn provide it for use by their small business clients.
